Thanks for posting the pics,Andy.Half or almost nothing is left of these bullets to continue there pounding or pushing. They never had anything to begin with because the first half is made out of soft lead covered with a thin jacket.

Im sorry man but do you live on the same planet as the rest of us? Are you a self taught student of terminal ballistic performance. Where did you get your criteria of what constitutes good bullet performance.........In that Molson box?
You started this thread with a legitimate question for a person who has never hunted dangerous, thick skinned game that is not affected by hydrotatic shock like the antelopes and deer that you have possibly hunted. A lot of knowledgeable people gave you good information only to have you argue and dispute what they were trying to help you with. The statements you made about bullets being ineffective after expanding beyond diameter (the whole point of expanding bullets) and the area of discussion with GeorgeS, and the statements you made to Andy with regards to the pictures he posted of recovered bullets, have lead me to deduce that either, one you have no idea what you are talking about, or two.........after seeing the video of you filming yourself shooting........you could be crazy.
This thread is a waste of time.

I believe he was one of the mutants when the planet Krypton blew up. To be fair, we got him and Superman, but given the evidence, it's a "wash." jorge

That's debatable.

"Self taught" would denote knowledge, so the answer is obviously no.

Correct.

Key word - "possibly". I don't think he's ever owned a rifle or done any hunting. He's just one of the local trolls.

failure to understand this means you are having the a id-10-t error

I was referring to his comment on the Swift, not on the Hornadys, of course. Should have been more specific, I guess...I've loaded a couple thousand Hornadys but have never shot them at anything that walks...

Shootaway,

I edited my original post with details about which bullets are which. Take a look. these are some of the best hunting bullets ever invented and shot at much higher than normal velocity and they still look great (except maybe 400 grain Barnes X and 400 grain Woodleigh) and even they survived, a significant achievement at such high velocity.

The 400 grain NF survived PB 1600 pound buffalo and almost exited on off side despite .80 caliber expansion and perforating near rib and far side femur.

Not many bullets in the world could ever claim that!

You need some education and this is the place to get it.

Andy
