I had a Winchester model 70 in .375 and I have a mauser in 9.3 x 62. The .375 feels like 10-15% more recoil, but it is easily manageable.

the 9.3 does recoil slighly less and yes the 9.3 cz is a bit lighter than the .375. The 9.3 I feel would be the perfect feral pig cartridge....I am yet to shoot any pigs with it.

Sevens...I reckon if you can shoot a 30/06 you will be able to master the .375 no worries.
