Well I finally received my new rifle last Monday, as yet havent had time to shoot it, but will post range results when I have some.
Built in Dawson Creek B.C. by the boys at Rocky Mountain Rifles (Corlane Sports)
LH MRC SS 22" barreled action. Chambered in .416 Rem Mag. Floated and Pillar bedded. Bansner "Hi-Tech" stock, with Limbsaver, and a Merc. recoil Suppressor. NECG "Express" sights, NECG bbl. band. Talley QR rings and bases.Finished weight is about 8.75 lbs.
Ready for my Brown Bear hunt, and a few Dugga boys!

jeffeossovery nice.. you might find the fiberpotic front offers a better picture... for me, i usually order the next taller one, if the brass one works

What kind of coating did you use ?
Mine came in the white and I can't decide how to protect them .

Can I ask about the powder coating? I assume this was done prior to installation.
Was band and the sights white on the inside surfaces and soldered on to cover all bare surfaces?
Did you consider coating the rings/bases also? Would it have been a problematic to do so (not coat all fitted QR surfaces)
Looking for ideas on weatherproofing a rifle myself.
