I was just wondering if any of you could tell me what performance you get with you GS bullets both velocity and penetration in your big bores ?
And i have a suggestion to those that have ordered bullets but only get disappointed. I visited huntamerica and in one of the topic ,,i don't remember(i'm sorry, but it's posted on page one,if that's any help).Well go visit them and read. It's a lot of controversion about not getting them high -qualituy bullets,,and how you can get through and have your orders refunded.

Man,,is it frustrating to have wasted a lot of effort and money to get a high-quality product as if not to get the stuff !
That man (Gerard should have emigrated to the states or Norway,he,he for that's sake).Or someone really good, to analyze the bullet and put it together again, so as to start their own business in the states,,that would be something !!
Well ,besides, i posted this to express my frustration with others here, and not at least with Ulrik who ordered a looot from them (750 r. bullets).Not cheap !His .577 T-rex could push those bullets to velocities and powers(ft/lbs) beyond everys imagination (figure 2750 + fps with 750 gr.GS bullets.)
A guy got 3650 fps with 120 GS bullets(i think it was .25 cal or maybe 6.5 mm).With those bullets it had more energy than both the .30-06 & .300 Win Mag with their 180 gr.)
So it is sad to see gerard's company suffers and problems seems to multiply for each day,,in other words they seem to have heritated the "A-square"-syndrom. But as mentioned above ,,you can get your orders refunded.

I observed a number of Buffalo kills with the GS FN bullet last month and also its use on plainsgame...I witnessed complete penitration on body shot buffalo "lenthwise" and in a stright line...Johann Calitz shot and elephant lenthwise and the bullet was found behind the ear..I know of no better solid today and it kills like a soft point as it creates permanent cavatation as opposed to temporary cavitation and does this throughout its travel in the body....thus tissue damage is the same as soft point just elongated..thats the best I can describe it..I came to expect 1.5 to 2" exit holes and you will probably never recover one...

As you, by now have noticed, I am totally sold on the GS solid and my limited use of the HV, has also been excellent..

I believe Gerards problems stem from his geographical location and a government service (African Post Office) that is littered with theives and indolent morons, that's simply a fact plus a internet and phone system that only works on a part time basis...

Folks that have not had to deal with the situation in RSA just don't understand the logistics of getting anything done in that country..the new government is a total farce..The government is run by people with absolutly no education what so ever, they are right out of the bush....

Thats the way I see it and I have spent a lot of time over there, and it is always frustrating for an intelligent person to deal with....your only salvation is to never lose your since of humor or you will surly go mad....I recall the last trip wherein the Customs officer in charge of counting ammo could not count, not at all...He insisted I had 13 rounds of ammo, I said "right" and he passed me, I had 100 rounds!! Comming out I said 13 and he counted and said "right", I had 37..Oh well

Thats Gerards problem IMO, I will continue to use them and pay the Fedex charges...or have someone bring them to me.

After my elephant was dead (.585 ny), I had one of the trackers shoot it in the shoulder with a GS Custom FN solid out of my 470 capstick at 2350 fps. The bullet went through the shoulder and lengthwise back through the elephant to lodge near the rear of the elephant about 6 1/2 feet from the entrance hole. I have the bullet and it is in perfect condition. Gerard's bullets are also very accurate.

The problem is in paying money and not getting the product.

Ray's suggestion to use FedEx is fine, and I would have done it had I known that 10 months is too short a time to expect to get bullets.

You are right that Gerard should emigrate and get rich on his bullets in a real country.
