www.wideners.com is selling cheap some Hornady ammo for 458 Win. They show a 500 gr at $19.00 for a box of 20 (# HA8585). The cheapest I've ever seen factory 458 ammo.

Does anybody still shoot a 458 anyway?

ForrestB, I just got my 458 Win. in today and will be shooting it Saturday. I could't find the Hornady ammo, the listing for loaded ammo doesn't list Hornady and when I tried the site search it didn't come up wither.

Thanks ForrestB, I'm taking the 458 out to the range Saturday with Jeffeosso and thought we should have at least one light rifle to shoot. (LOL)you know he loves the big stuff.

That is the best price I have seen.
I must admit that I prefer a 400grn out of the WM.

Appeared to be a bit of a joke when I tried to order from them. A short terse email that they are out of stock, not accepting any backorders and do not have a delivery date.

Check with Aleko at Heritage Arms. When I was at his Salt Lake City store in Sept he had 458 ammo at a very good price.
He is a poster on AR.
