Has anybody tried the new Hornady offerings in 450 X 3 1/4 or 450/ 400?
I am looking forward to the 470 becoming available as to have an economical factory load. I was told at DSC it would be April or May
Just curious as to bullet performance both the new flat nose solid and the new soft.
Does the ammo chrono accurately to their published data?
I saw some of the 450/400 on sales at Cabelas (Ft Worth) this past Fall for $68.00 / Box

EZ...450 3.25"....2080-2100 fps thru my 26" barrels. 450/400 3"....2020-2045 fps thru my 23.6" barrels.
Can't say about the bullets.....but worked for Steve Hornady and Craig Boddington on their hunts.
