8 Bore Safari

Hunting in very thick lush green cover. Left to right, Johan Hermann, myself and Jeff Smith.

He was bull number 27 on day four.

He was a great old warrior who fought to the end.

I am very proud of these.

My best shot, brained at 35 m, I was very pleased, my PH Johan Hermann of Rigby Big Game Safaris is beside me.

More details to follow.

You are a man of my heart John Smiler

As classic as hunt in Africa with a doublerifle can become.
Did you settle with the 1200grain conical bullet?. What velocity?
