hy, guy's, i usd to shoot black talon's, and the name got changed to law enforcement ammo. (by winchester) in 240 gr. hollow point, i heard up here in canada they won't let them across the border , because they have such a bad reputation on the street's.just wondering if the bullet was still available for reloading. the reason i want it , i shot a moose with it 5 yrs ago and was so impressed with the performanc with it, almost complete pass through, inside hide on far side. it mushroomed with about 8 little "J" hooks around it. verry impresive for hunt'n. any info would be appreciated. thank's guy's. Rick in canada.

Richard Wayne, if you cant get that bullet, try the 250 Nosler Partition or the 270 Speer Gold Dot SP. Both have worked good on wild pigs.

I am using the Nosler 240 gr JHP's with good success and the winchester component 240 gr JHP also with good effect. Both Projectiles in front of 25 grains of AR 2205, for around 1600 fps from my Marlin 1894 P with 16 1/4" barrel.

I think you would be happy with the perfromance of either of these two projectiles. I also have 50 rounds loaded with the 300 gr Hornady XTP projectiles but have yet to give them a run.
