RAAMW. Enjoy your new M70. I also have the safari express in .416 Rem. The advise given so far is right on. Especially #8 screws on the sight bases. I am using the leupold QD mounts and rings (the ones with the ring base studs). Also before you get to a lot of shooting, do a bedding job with agraglass or similar as the factory bedding is worthless and it would be shame to crack such a good looking stock. (my rifle also has great looking wood). I am using either RX-15 or IMR 4064 and 400gr bullets. Have not really done anything with lighter bullets although I want to try the 350gr Barnes X. Good shooting

Fill your cases with 78 grs. of RL-15 like CharlieNoak sez and a 400 gr. Nosler partition...same load with a good solid and your in tall cotton, with a killing machine, and a mild load thats a proven killer of big mean things... That new 416 Nosler is about the best Cape buffalo bullet I have ever used, its the best thing since sliced white bread. A flat nose solid is the best solid on the market today..Northfork has some, but I have not used them..GS Customs has the best I have used but they are hard to come by, but I have a supply...
