I've just come to the conclusion that 470Nitro is another of ScottS's personalities. Check out his posts on the 12Ga FH and the new one on the HCI meeting.

I just checked out those two threads that you mentioned. Yeah, it all seems a little suspicious to me. 470nitro sure seems to be obsessed with ScottS. Also, under 470nitro's user profile he lists "Hobbies: killing things". Would a regular, normal user/person list such a thing as a hobby? Looks a little suspicious to me.

I will comment on this once! I am NOT 470 Nitro. Robgunbuilder IS 470 Nitro. Who else, besides ol' Robbie, gives a rat's ass if I am a member of any organization.

Don't believe me, ask Don Greenbaum to trace IP numbers. Better yet, post 470 Nitro's IP, I would wager it ain't coming from Michigan, or anywhere near Michigan.

I am most definately not ScottS. I e-mailed this information to a few people last week about ScottS and HCI. It's not a secret anymore.There are lots of folks who are curious about why he's here. Mike-375 could you be ScottS? Your posts are awfully troll-like too and your personality matches the type almost perfectly. You also seem awfully interested in what he has to say.Most people have him on ignore but you read and respond to his posts in nearly the same way.hmmm I wonder why.

I was wondering if it is possible to setup so the IP from each poster will display along with a post? This way IP addresses will be displayed publically so there will be less second guessing who is whom. Just a thought!

Mingbogo, do you really want people to know your IP address?? In the few days this site displayed IP address a couple years ago, you wouldn't believe the uproar. All of a sudden, everyone's computers were getting pinged and there was mass fear of hackers, etc.

Knowing one's IP is not really so helpful as you might think. I post from 3-4 different computers. Worse, some of them are on roving IP's that will never be the same twice - this is part of my university's networking system which must deal with students and more portable computers that are constantly changing positions and thus IP subnets.

I'm sure that IPs can be easily faked as well.

Well lets see now- I got some E-mail last week from a guy who says he's 470Nitro. He's sent me E-mail before and about 6 months ago made me an offer on my 470MBOGO. He didn't want to go thru an FFL so I declined the sale. This time he had some intel on ol ScottYPOO.Frankly I believed him! Now come to think of it it probably was ScottS all the time! I have ScottS on "ignore" I can see when he posts and the topic but thats it! I repeat and Mike 375 READ VERY CAREFULLY! I DON"T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT SCOTTS! However, I would first check with Don and Saeed because I think there is a techincal problem with the "ignore" list.



The reason I suspect that a technical problem exists is because it is quite apparent that some people who have ScottS on their ignore list are still able to read his postings.
