It has been a long time coming. A big thanks to Rob Garnick who gave me a ton of advice and did some of the work including building an awesome muzzle brake. The gun was finished off by Wayne at AHR. It started out as a CZ action the barrel is a 3 groove pacnor. Stock is a McMillan. The rifle weighs just over 14lb dry.

Enjoy your new rifle!!! When you can, tell us more details. How

That is a great looking rig. Are you going to be okay with the location of the front sling eye? On most of my big recoilers, I have a barrel band type eye to avoid having my left index finger being whacked. Just sayin'. Enjoy your .600 OK.....I sure have enjoyed mine. Cheers. Chip.

Which stock is that? It looks a lot beefier than the one McMillan built for me.

The stock is a McMillan bench rest stock. They fit it to me and the receiver when I ordered it. Luckily they are in my home state so I just went over and they took care of me. It is heavy duty. I was back and fourth on the front sling eye I decided to shoot it first to see if it was a problem. I started off with full powered loads fugured I would jump right in. Recoil was extremely manageable. I don't believe I will have a problem with the sling eye. Magazine holds 2 rounds. Scope is a Nikon African 1x3 magnification.

WOW! Very impressive. Any sort of recoil reduction system (other than the muzzle brake)? The aluminum (?) butt plate sort of looks like a Ken Rucker "Bump Buster." Is the rifle destined for Africa? If so, you may want to take a look at the "new" regs. and their application to rifles over .50 caliber. See: https://www.ice.gov/cpi/faq (read the faqs.)

The .50 cal maximum regulation is nothing new. It does not pertain to sporting rifles. The 600 Overkill and other +.50 cal cartridges have obtained clarification letters from BATFE that they are NOT destructive devices and are to be classified as sporting cartridges. The .50 cal export limit pertains to destructive devices. We fought this battle long ago.

I hope you are right Wayne. However, read the faqs that I linked to ... and equally important, read the relevant Code of Federal Regulations that are cited. This isn't a BATF issue or a "destructive device" or "sporting cartridge" issue. BATF doesn't have jurisdiction here. It relates to the caliber of the firearm and what the Dept. of Commerce and the Dept. of State (and their enforcement goons ... CBP and TSA) will allow you to "export" from the US without an export license. Read the postings that deal with the "new administrative regs" dealing with traveling internationally with guns from the US. The issue is: under the "new regs" can you legally export a firearm (in simple terms ... take with you on your safari to Africa) that is larger than .50 caliber without a formal export license?

I hope I am too. The +.50 cal limit has always been in the US Munitions list as well as Federal and some state regulations. This has never interfered with the export, either temporary or peramanent of +.50 cal sporting arms. This has always worked for us because of the line drawn between sporting and military/law enforcement firearms. Now with new requirements of having to file electronically for temporary export and enter information that was never before required (caliber?) I can see our Govt. Using this change to nefarious purposes. Wouldn't put it past them a bit. I'm expecting a lot of flux in the upcoming months and am sure it will take a lot of fight on our part to keep things as status quo as possible. Keeping fingers crossed.

This stupidity is exactly why I developed the 12gaFH. After all it's "Just" a shotgun! it will fire standard 2 3/4 shells just fine! In a pinch it's good for T-Rex too! So versatile, so green!, makes a liberal politician smile! The perfect tool to "wipe your hard-drive" with!

By any chance you haven't sold one recently to Mrs. Clinton? (Obviously, we respect the "privacy" of your customers, and you don't have to answer that.)

The Deluxe model comes with a handy removable but federally registered suppressor that increases the pleasure obtainable when " wiping out those pesky Hard Drives" while knowing that you are reducing noise pollution and minimizing global warming all at the same time! Fully endorsed by Bill Deblasio for use in NYC and especially in certain Brown stone building environments! We have or at lest did have the emails from many highly placed politicians supporting our claims!
