I know most of us are not crazy about this gun, but I really like it. I was not a push feed shooter until I saw one of these. I have ordered it in .460 Weatherby with the idea to shoot the 550 Woodleighs. I have always wanted a .460 after seeing several of them in the hands of PH's in South Africa. Overkill, yes, but the concept is intriguiing. Does any one own one or use this bullet combo. Aleko

Sure, I am a big CRF fan, but Mike375 got me thinking about the virtues of a vertical stack pushfeed in 460 Wby. Saeed's PH, used one to back him up on elephant. I have taken the barrel off my 460 BBK-02. The straight part of the shank was left 6" long for mounting a scout scope base, and the overall length was 26", and 0.750" at the muzzle, so it will be easy to cut off the threads and rechamber and rethread this for a Wby Mark V action that is now a 30-378 in a plastic stock. The 460 Wby dummies feed like greased owl crap from the 30-378 vertical stack magazine. I will load the 460 Weatherby down to 2400 fps with 500 grain bullets and avoid the factory ammo. This is pretty well fool proof. Everybody ought to have at least one vertical stack pushfeed 460 Wby.

I am open minded about most things, but I need to pop off a few rounds with somebody elses to see if I can stand it before buying my own. My one experience with the 378 was not a positive one. Maybe I'm just a wimp.
