I saw a Japanese made Mark V in this cal for $1K at a local shop.

It has had the end of the barrel ported with the multiple small holes drilled in it like a skeetgun.

Check Abraham's Pawn in newnan, GA

I saw one last year at a local gun shop for $1K. It had a leupold 1-4 scope on it and ports that looked like fish gills. The stock was so shiny that I could see myself well enough to comb my hair.

This was a consignment gun along with some kind of .458 I don't remember the manufacturer.

I don't know much about Weatherby's but this one was in used, but good shape! Seemed like a lot of money compared to a CZ 550 and a Lott Reamer though..

Sounds like it has the old Pendelton De-Kicker so-called muzzel brake on it.

That's one helluva buy.If I didn't already have so many irons in the fire,it'd be in big trouble.

Isn't DaggaRon looking for one???

I was wondering about the "deal" factor!

i don't have the $$ or inclination to start with this behemoth..I may try a lowly .458 WinMag next year though..I have fired one a time or two..
