I just now discovered this video and I thought I would share. It's a browning lever action that has been rebarreled to 416 ruger. Compact, fast, powerful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFV_iE1vm1k Sand Creek November 29 1864

only one problem, its from Wild West Guns! Double Rifles, This is the weapon of a Jedi Knight. Not as clumsy or random as bolt rifle. An elegant weapon for a more civilized age. DRSS Chapuis 9.3x74R NRA Life Member

I have a BLR rebarelled to .375 Ruger by a local Pa. gunsmith and I LOVE it. Low recoil, MOA (even though its a takedown), and its a ...lever action! I haven't had any work done by those boys in Alaska (Wild West Guns) but they sure have some neat stuff...

Lots of advantages to that set-up. Can I ask how much it set you back? I should probably start saving now.
