This is probably an easy one, but I sure don't know the answer. If a person were to buy a rifle with someone elses initials engraved upon it, is there a way to have them taken off? Thanks, Glen.

Quint,
Depending upon where the initials are engraved, you could have them filled in with silver solder and then cold blue the area. It might be noticeable, but not as much as the initials.

If it's on the barrel, you could have the barrel set back enough so that the initials are in the barrel channel; you then have to have the chamber re-cut.

Thanks George. I think I have the perfect answer. The initials are on the trigger guard, and I'm pretty sure I can just replace the whole thing. Glen.

They can be removed and yours can be placed there...
