I've used them on black bears and moose in a 375 H&H. They performed very well.On broadside shots you will have a fist sized exit hole. This results in a rather serious leak! With this bullet @ 2700 fps muzzle the 375 has a pretty decent trajectory making it a very useful calibre. I have also shot some of these bullets into wet newspaper from a 375 Wby @ 2900 fps. They come apart.

John,

I have shot an eland, a warthog and some bait impala with it. It exited on the smaller animals showing signs of expansion. It did not exit on the eland, and made me wish for a harder bullet (three shots needed). The rifle was a .376 Steyr with a MV of 2,550 fps. Range was only about 75 yards.
