With nothing to do in the snow and cold I spent the better part of the PM cleaning rifles. With one following the other I really notices the difference in the slickness of the actions. Involved were 2 (two) LH CZ rifles reworked by 2 (two) smiths frequently mentioned on AR about the work they do and 2 (two) Model 70's in 7 STW (LH) and .300 RUM (RH) New Havens approx. G305,000 and never reworked. While I am not complaining about the work on the CZs when handling them when handled as mentioned above the un touched Mod 70's are slicker than the worked over CZs. Anyone else ever detect this. Again, the CZs are slick enough and feed slick, the 70s are just slicker. | ||
