Ok, guys, I've been reading this forum way too much lately, and I've always wanted a .375. I was at Cabela's the other day and saw a CZ 550 in .375 H&H and they had it listed for $750. It was probably shot, but didn't look like it was hunted with. Is that a decent price? If it is I might be a .375 owner after this weekend. I heal fast and don't scar.

If it's in good condition, that's certainly not bad. I've bought a couple of rifles from cabelas, and they seem to generally have fair prices. At least cheaper than most of the local dealers where I live. Of course, it varies from gun to gun whith regards to used rilfes. You can always get them to work with you on the price a little. Might as well try and sweet talk them down a bit... in my experience, that usually works with the guys in the gun library. Good luck. Hmm, thanks for that head's up, Jarrod, I might have to look into that one a little more. The only problem is my eye has now caught a Model 700 XCR in .338...not really a big bore, but a step up from what I've got now! I heal fast and don't scar.
