What kinda of action are they? I was under the impression that there an Anson and a Heeley type. In other words they are two separate systems, which did the exact same thing.
W. Anson and John Deeley were both employed by the Westley Richards company in Birmingham, England, in 1875 when they patented the vastly successful boxlock action for break-open guns. The action is elegant in its simplicity, having only three moving parts per barrel, the tumbler (hammer), sear and cocking lever.

When someone says "Company X uses an Anson & Deeley box lock action in their doubles", it means that they use an Anson & Deeley STYLE box lock action. Each company makes its own action. There are styles other than the Anson & Deeley style, although the A&D is known for reliability.
