I hate it when they dont post pics. Whether it is a $500 or a $5000 gun, it is annoying. Definately have to ask for pics. He might say no returns cause you might shoot it once and not like the "vigorous" recoil. If you buy it, and dont like it I might take it off of your hands for a MINIMAL price. I could always use another 375 RUM.

maybe he doesnt have a digi camera?! Push feed piece of junk, huh. I wonder why Mil snipers trust their lives with their M24(I.E. REM700 action)SWS. Imagine that...

It was a joke dude, but let me enlighten you, if you don't get it! Wink

A mil sniper doesn't depend on a mod 700 to save his live! He sits 400 yds away in hideing, and takes the life of someone else! I will gureantee you if he gets in a real firefight, he will throw that plactic piece of crap away and pick up something that has some dependable fire power! Eeker

There is a big difference between a rifle made for fighting, and one made for sniping! All a Sniper rifle has to have is accuracy, it doesn't have to have the reliability of feed, as it is just as good if a single shot! It can be made, and used in a more fagile package, because it isn't used in real firefights.

The sniper rarely fires more than one round, even if he misses, because if he fires more he will be zeroed in on, and an ememy squad, with real rifles,

mgun mgun mgun mgun mgun

will lite his position up, and smoke his pants with those stupid little rifles with 40 round magazines, by filling the airspace around him with tiny little bullets by the hundreds. beer

Here we go on another pissers contest! Frowner

Didn't expect this to be a pf vs. crf thread. pissers

If the rifle is as described it would be a good deal.

I did have a 375 ultra in the ss synthetic. But I sold it and wouldn't mind getting another. I think the lss is a good pick for an ultra because it is a little heavier than the ss syn. I don't need it or anything bigger than a 30 cal anyway but If I was to get one I would consider this to be a good price and just thought I would share.

Matchkings are not hunting bullets!!!

I just bought a 700BDL in 300RUM for the purpose of changing over t0 375RUM.Same bolt face-no work needed on the bolt.I will enjoy shooting the 300RUM also until the throat goes. Then I will change stock for fibreglass, put in a jewel trigger, and a cut-rifled barrel with muzzle-break.About the push feed vs crf,I think it is more a matter of what mechanism you are comfortable with.No mechanism is going to save you from anything, that only thing that will save your ass is YOU.

Nah, no pissing contest here. I said that in jest too. No biggie. But of course you are correct, cause his spotter has an M16 with him to protect both of their asses...

I am leery of anyone selling a gun of any type who does not ask for an FFL. Just me.

then when he picks up the m-16 and it jams on the 1st 2nd or 3rd round he'll say to him self "damn! I wish I had my Remington"
