Another year in Libby thanks to Jay and his cohorts at Safari Big Bore shoot in Libby
Awesome event, superbly organized and unbelievable weather ( 65 degrees and sunny )
Honing skills with your big gun is a must and I tell you, every time things improve in your performance
Hurt shoulders and fingers come with territory of shooting big boom sticks
Thanks again Libby

Thanks to Jay and all his crew for hosting another fine shoot at the Libby Range. I had a
great time, saw many old friends and shot fairly well considering a couple of the stations
were quite difficult due to size of target or
distance to target. A very fair course of fire
for big game rifles. We were blessed with good
weather and mild temperatures. I hope to be back
next year.

My in laws live in Whitefish, and I just got back from a week up there. Is the shoot in Libby proper or somewhere nearby?

Use enough gun...

It is held at the range, directly across from the Libby airport

I know that this is "after the fact" but, what is the minimum cal. required? We would like to prepare for next year's shoot, but I really don't want to "chop" the stock off my Win. Model 70 375 H&H, so my my wife can also shoot. Her go to rifle is a .338 Win.,but I'm guessing that it's too small for the shoot. memtb

If your wife is left-handed CDNNSports still has some 375Rugers at $600. It is very similar in recoil to the 338WinMag and can be loaded down should she wish.
