Anybody have experience with Kahles scopes on hard kicking big bore rifles? How do they hold up?

I am planning to mount one on a .375 for hunting, and another on a .500 A-Square, mostly for fun, such as accuracy testing at the range, but maybe for some hunting too.

I think Jorge uses them on his bigger bore rifles.

Guys: I've only used them on 300s and currently on a 7mm WBY. I read somewhere where Khales uses a sort of "leaf spring" assembly in their scopes instead of the more robust coils. John Barness' book, Optics For The Hunter also touches on the subject. Currrently I have a Swaro "PH" 1.75X6X42 on my 340 Weatherby. After a lot of reading and talking to folks, including D'Arcy Echols and JohnS, I've settled on Leupolds for anything above 40 cal. I managed to find an old Leupold 3X and also I have a new VXIII 1.5X5X20mm on Talleys that I plan to use on my Waffenfabrik Hein450 Dakota, whenever I take delivery that is. I just hope I'm not blowing spit bubbles and wearing a diaper in the Old Sailor's Home! Smiler jorge

Have used Kahles scopes on 375 H&H and 9.3x62mm with no problems. Still have my first 6x42 Kahles, now mounted on a .30-06. Mighty good scopes.

I have a Kahles CSX 1-1.4 on my Chapuis 9.3X74R double rifle. As a light weight rifle it has plenty of recoil. The scope has held up just fine, so far.
