Can one shoot 458 Win Mag ammo in a 458 Lott?

Yes, but making a habit of it can cause erosion of the chamber (think .38Spl. in a .357mag. chamber).

You will also have quite a long jump before hitting the rifling, There may be an accuracy issue.

If it is a rechambered 458 Win the bullet jump should be the same. If the Lott is a SAAMI 458 Lott chamber then firing a 458 Win should have less bullet jump than when fired in a standard 458 chamber.

The SAAMI 458 Win has the rifling about 1" or 1.1" from the case mouth and the 458 Lott is about .4" or less.
