This request is somewhat related to Ivan's 416 Taylor/458 Win Mag thread. IF all works out I'm hopeing to join him on the buff hunt in '08. Which lead to this thread. The biggest caliber I own is a 300 H&H. I am looking for someone who would be willing to meet up and let me shoot thier big bore, so I may have a little exposure before diving into buying one.

I know there are a couple African hunters right in your neck of the woods that are also members of AR (skibum+3 comes readilly to mind...see his trophy room recently posted in that forum). That would probably be your first choice.

But, if that doesn't work out, and if you are willing to drive up to Cranbrook (about 2 hours from you) some weekend, I could let you take a whirl with my 416 Taylor or my 470 Mbogo. If it was timed right, I might even be able to get a couple buddies to join in with their 375's, 458 WMs etc.
