Very good!! I'm a big fan of the 444, I used to have one but I sell it to one of my hunting buddies, he shot a running pig last weekend also using 300 grainers and flat it down.
I've change to the 9,3x62, also a great caliber!!
Give it a try someday.

And well you should be. I would like more information. What powder load etc. Is it scoped or open?
I haven't closed my groups with my Marlin anywhere near this nicely.
