can anyone tell me some good back open sights i can put on my ruger lott. i want to get rid of the express sights.i need my weapon sighted in at around the 10-15m mark.

I've had good luck with the NEGC peep sight. It fits on the reciever just like the scope mounts.

I prefer the shallow V, its been working for PHs and hunters for many years now, but the Ruger peep by NECG is a good option if you don't lose it.

For Dangerous game, use the NECG peep sight at
$85 US and save the 2 apteratures,(large and small) Do not install them and use the large
threaded hole as a ghost ring. The sight is
still adjustable for windage and elevation but
you have lots of visibility and a longer sight
radius. Zephyr's post above gives the details
of the sight. For the money it is the cheapest
and most effective fix for what you want on a heavy gun. You may find you also want to change the front sight to a fiber optic, red, green or orange or just a standard large white ivory bead. Gold beads are not visible in the jess against a black buffalo.
