I was just searching around on gunsamerica.com and saw this. It is a modified Enfield bolt action in 416 Rigby. It has a douglas barrel I think, walnut stock, barrel band, mounts, express sights, etc. Price is $1,250. It sounded like a fairly good price judging by the cost of gunsmithing work on an Enfield (especially larger bores). I'd seriously look into it more if I didn't have another rifle in the works. It's under the custom rifles section: GA#976380860. What do you guys think? PS: "Recoil" pad looks a little thin.

it looks cold blued, it's a parts gun, and CZ'z are better for 1/2 the price. For THAT price, you can get a ruger. the stock is an american style, and the drop if FOR A SCOPE... it will whack the crap out of you in iron sights, like the difference between the winchester super express and the safari express, for all intents and purposes, they are the SAME metal.. but the stock drops 3/4 of an inch or so. In short, I would pass for anything more than 800... in fact, for 800, i would still but the CZ, for 630 bucks EVERYDAY on gunbroker, and put the rest in brass, dies, powder, and bullets... and shoot it!! jeffe

I'd agree with Jeffe. Looks like a parts gun and I'd sure as heck want to know that it will feed all the rounds out of the box before I'd shell out $1250 for one. Assuming you just have to have an enfield. Buy the CZ550 and pass on this thing.-Rob

I'm with jeffe, pass on it and buy a CZ, the most you should have to pay is $639.
