I have acouple of projects going that are going to be open sights only. Does anyone have any info on Who makes a synthetic stock for big bores that has some drop in it. Like a english express stock.

It's hard to tell from web site photos who might have a stock with a lot of drop. You might want to call Doc directly over at MPI. I know he makes what he calls a Nitro stock.

Any exact duplicate of a pre-64 Win Model 70 should have enough drop for open sights. Seems Lone Wolf has one. Can't remember but I would start the discussions there.


"Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

You had better figure on wood or a really high rear sight ramp and front sight. Thats a recipe for UGLY.....Smiler
