Im wanting to put a low power scope on my Kimber. The issue is the action is to long, can anyone show pics of how yours is set up please. I was thinking of a Leup 1 to 4.

Double Rifles, This is the weapon of a Jedi Knight. Not as clumsy or random as bolt rifle. An elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

not sure how much longer (if any?) your Talkeetna's action is than a CZ550, but I easily mounted a Leupold Euro-30mm 1.25-5x in Warne QD's.

Alaskaman, I had the same issue with my 375 H&H on a Rem 700 action. I simply put a picatinny rail on it allowing ring placement where you need it.

No Sir, I have the same on a 308 and 260 Rem. There are no issues with any of them. They are all Rem actions. They also help out with eye relief issues by allowing more rearward placement with the compact scopes.

I'm doing some shooting friday and will take some pics for you, I'll try to remember to post them next week when I get to a laptop.
