I am just wondering if the action of a Ruger MK11 .338 rifle would be long enough to handle the Rem ultra mag line of cartridges ??

Isn't it shorter than the .375 H&H Case ??

I believe they are both the same length. So a 375 ultra wouldn't fit in a normal length Ruger action.

Ultra case No, not without alteration, however, the 375 Dakota, Yes. It's an improved and shortened 404 Jeff.

2.570" case length, 3.320" COL

Same case used for 7mm Dakota, 300 Dakota, 330 Dakota, and 404 Dakota. The 416 Dakota is the same case but is 2.850" long, 3.650" COL

Dakota sells headstamped brass, dies and loaded ammo for the 375 Dakota.
