X Bolt Browning Stalker SS 375H&H
Hi Folks,
I am looking for an Etrem weather 375HH and according to what we can find here (unfortunately I leave in France Roll Eyes) I am considering two options: X Bolt Stalker SS or Remington 700 XCR II.
I would appreciate your comments/experiences.
Thanks Wink

X Bolt Stalker

I own this rifle in .308 Win. and really like it, but such a lightweight gun and .375 H&H ?

However, first check if it is available in Europe, e.g. the X-Bolt Stainless Stalker in .300 WSM (and other calibers) is not imported to Europe.

judging from your choices, you wish to have a stainless gun -- which is just fine.
of the 2, and both are a bit futuristic, i think, today, I would probably buy the remmie over the browning .. though i like both actions...

and spray paint the OD remmie stock

Those x bolt .375 SS stalkers are very good guns. I hunted all over OZ with one in some really nasty areas where the gun got beat up a great deal. It was more than enough for Water Buff and Banteng though! With the Boss on it they are Easy MOA guns and are very fast handling. Tough choice between those two guns though. Probably can't go wrong either way.-Rob

Hello All,
Thanks for your advises; some comments:
Yes it is available in Europe (7 in stock at Browning Belgium).
I would choose the Winnie 7O Extreme Weather but it is no more (or perhaps not yet) produced in this calibre; and to find it here as second hand....... Roll Eyes
