Didn't realize this thread was still ongoing. I posted my .458 Lott several months back so I guess it is time to post another or two. My newest, a 9.3x64 Brenneke built by Reto Buehler and rocked by Gary Goudy. My .416 Ruger with metalwork by several artisans ending up with Danny Pedersen reboring the barrel and re-chambering to the big Ruger round. A Granite Mountain Arms rifle built for me and chambered for the 9.3x63. My pre-64 Model 70 chambered for the 9.3x62 using as Danny Pedersen cut rifled barrel.

Remove the .338 and the remainder are classics. I always regretted selling my .458WM and loved shooting that calibre. It was designed to put big stuff down at 50 yards and did it very effectively. Andrew, I found an original pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Supergrade with a broken stock. That became the basis for the 458 WM build.

Biebs, how come you don't have a 375 H&H among your classics? A 318 WR (330 cal) would make a good replacement for the 338. "When the wind stops....start rowing. When the wind starts, get the sail up quick."

Naki, it was more a matter of what was offered up here on AR in the form of barreled actions, incomplete projects, or other opportunities. As they say...one man's trash becomes another man's treasure :-)
