Anyone know of a manufacture that makes red dot mounts for a Ruger 77 Hawkeye. Not looking for a rail adapter but a mount that will fit in place of Ruger rings. RMR or Aimpoint foot print mostly.
Burris makes one for the fastfire footprint sights and I ordered one. Unfortunately while installing the first sight I snapped the head off one of the screws with the supplied Allan wrench using two fingers. Grain structure of the screw was big and pretty rough. Sent it back and got a replacement, haven’t tried to install it yet but looking for better build quality.
I’m sure the Fastfire sights are up to the task but my experience with red dots are mostly with trijicon and Aimpoint.
This would be going on a Hawkeye Alaskan 416 Ruger.

Not sure about such a mount for Ruger Hawkeye, but AHR had a similar mount for CZ 550 rifles.
