Is there any reason that the CZ550 in 9.3x62 can't be taken out to 9.3x64? Or is it a why bother thing if you have a 375?

I think it's the why bother if you already have a .375. 9.3x62 ammo and components are certainly easier to obtain and ballistcally the 64mm is very close to the Ouch and Ouch.JMHO.

I agree. If you have a lovely Oberndorf action that you want to make into a Class I DGR, then there is nothing easier than a 9.3x64. But if you already have a .375, the only excuse for getting the German version is acute guncrankieness, a common but perplexing psychopathology. Until Norma or RWS start making the brass more available, I wouldn't bother.

I agree with the above and you won't get much over 100 FPS over a hot loaded 9.3x62.

Thanks Guys. I admit to having acute guncrankiness but all your messages make sense.
