Had a good time in tulsa for the Wannamacher gun show. Some friends have moved on and others have given up. On one of my trollys through the show I found a German guild rifle with English proof mark on it in 10.75x68. The unusual thing is the magazine box arrangement. Looks like a good copy of a 425 Westley Richards single stack magazine. It appears to be an Orberndorf action/twin triggers/half round/half octagon barrel with full length rib half band sling swivel. Not drilled/tapped. Blueing exellent, possibly reblued very nice English style checkering.Chamber cast/ stamping 10.75x68, proofed 57 gr. cordite/ 345 gr. Max bullet, 11 mm bore/ NP/also marked St.m.G. got any ideas on provenance?? square shooter

That was my first time at the Wanenmaker show, but seemed like it was heavy on the "old west" and modern semi-auto to me. I didn't see all that much in the way of big bores there. Caleb

This gun show runs in cycles. This is the cycle for black guns and nostalgia. I usually sell 4-8 rifles a show but not for two years. Folks arent interested in custom rifles right now. I look at it as a buying opportunity. square shooter
