Where does one start? The"Sharps" series was heaven on earth. My daughter-in law loves the "Norman Chronicles".....If you have not read any of his works...do so as life is too short to die before reading your last good book.

Never mistake motion for action.

I read his "Agincourt," and mean to read more.

I haven't read any of the sharps series or the ones to do with sailing. I have read all of his other works and loved them. The Saxon chronicles are of particular interest to me being a descendant of Danes, Norse, and the English. The Arthur trilogy is a cool look into the legend, and all of the other smaller series' and stand alines are good. Gallows Thief is a bit different than the rest but still a good book.

The sailing ones I own but would not read a second time. They were his first attempt at writing. The 2 others that he wrote with Susanna Kels (his wifes pen name) were O.K. but you could tell the parts that he wrote. Peter, buy the 1st Sharpes in the series "Sharpe's Tiger" + never look back;you will be hooked.
