Just watched this classic. Set at the end of the era of the buffalo hunter on the western plains. Some great hunting scenes so real they just might be! A good movie worth the price of admission. Grainger is one of the few actors whose rifle actually recoils when shooting. Well done

That was a good movie, but then in the late 50's-early 60's we were inundated with "safari/african movies) Largely thanks to Robert Ruark. Good stuff! Just finished a book about Richard Burton (the actor) where he was fxxxng Grainger's wife. They never worked together again until "The Wild Geese" in 1977 (a good movie as well.) Good actors aplomb I suppose but I personally would have had a hard time not cutting the s.o.b.

Never mistake motion for action.
