I bought a book at the Holland's booth.
"Paradox"; subtitled "The Story of Col G.V. Fosbery, Holland & Holland, and the Paradox, Volume I." $90, and only a few were available.
IIRC, they said any left would be available at the Holland & Holland store in NYC next week.

This book was written by David J Baker & Roger E. Lake, and the ones H&H had were all inscribed.

I am very pleased with my initial scan of the book.

Rich, you are probably already aware that Ross Seyfreid is the leading authority on the paradox "rifle" et al. Crying shame that he was let loose of Handloader magazine...Barnesse's loss;he was the best writer that they had.Damned fine in "Guns+ Ammo" 25 + years ago as well.

Norman,

yes, he is a neighbor. His ranch is only about 135 miles west of us, outside of La Grande, Oregon.

Rich, yep being from Texas 135 miles still considered a next door neighbor. Been meaning to call him + discuss some load data on his 30-416 A.I. After this surgery however I cannot shoot the large cals. but still love the load development. Best wishes. R.

One of Ross' best was when he said that his new Africa rifle was a 375 Winchester,
He went on to say it had the same numbers as a 375 JDJ. So it must be one of the best killers out there.
The point of the article was then presented but he hooked you from the get go.

He still writes for the old Double Gun Journal. It is now expanded to include his passion, single shot british express rifles.

He still has that style.
