"Emergency Sex (and othere desperate measures)" is a very good book about working in Africa in dangerous areas. Written by three people who worked in Somalia, Rwanda and Liberia among other places, when lead was in the air. Authors are: Kenneth Cain, Heidi Postlewait and Andrew Thomson. I've got the British edition by Random House but in the USA it seems it was published by Miramax. I found it to be very good and it might give you a different perspective on "humanitarian aid" workers. _________________________________ AR, where the hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history become the nattering nabobs of negativisim. | ||
