The Elite SA Police Anti-terrorist squad waged a tough, dangerous anti-insurgence war against Russuian trained/sponsored ANC fighters (Fight for Freedome against Apartheid in the 80's) who would come out of Angola training camps and invade The north and north west borders of South africa.
