New book to me - well written and gives a great account of hunting in Uganda in the 50's until Idi Amin killed it off in the 1970's. Glowing accounts of the many animals we do not see in other places and interesting in how rough it was for the first ones into the country. I wished it would be updated with a look back since Idi Amin was taken out.
Good book and a fun read.

I have that book and it is a great read. Some friends of mine hunted Uganda in 1970 with Nicky Blunt. The film, photos, and stories they brought back were amazing.
