This is very funny book about the authors travels during decades of hunting. It is in storytelling style depicting the authors lighthearted approach to hunting.

Bill Yung is also an accomplished artist and the book contains about 70 pen and ink sketches.

The book is available from Amazon or from Author house.

Since I personally know and hunt with the author I can verify that it is mostly true except when he pokes fun at me.

ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

Allen,

We want to add the book to the books for sale section on our shakariconnection.com website.

Can you please tell us more about the book and the author etc? For example is he writing from the perspective of a client or a PH?

If you'd like to do a review of the book, we'd be delighted to carry that on our website as well. Smiler

Steve,

You have a PM.

The book is written from the standpoint of the hunter.

It describes in a humorous and self deprecating way the authors hunts in Africa as well as Canada, New Zealand and the western US.

Its hard to describe but I will see if I can post a typical page here.

p.s. Bills webpage is bgyung.com

Allen,

And replied to my friend!

Hope you can post a page.... I'd be very interested to read it and I already love his subtle humour that shows through in his choice of title. tu2

Very readable and entertaining indeed and I was right about his humour..... I'm SURE I'm going to enjoy reading the book!

As for the sketches...... all I can say is he is one seriously talented SOB and ought to consider selling some of his work...... If he is interested in that, he might like to take a look at Susan's site at www.wild-african-art.com and she can be contacted at shakari2@mweb.co.za.

Oh and if you haven't sent the book yet, is there any chance the two of you might like to sign it for me before you do send it?

I know I'm a cheeky bastard! rotflmo

I just got notice that Bill has now pulled the book. It will be available again later.

He said he is not satisfied with some of the sketches and is going to do them over.
