Rigby brought out a neat new book, $45. "Rigby, A Grand Tradition", by Calabi, Helsey, and Sanger. Really well done photography, and a brief history of the company. Dances around the different eras, from Custer, to Fateh Singh to Corbett, to Mannerheim. It was told to me as a first in a series of four books to completely chronicle the history and notable customers. A true bargain at the price. The second: "In The Salt" by Lou Hallamore. A brief history of his life, and a lot of good information and guidelines for suitable dangerous game rifles and hunting. One of one thousand, limited edition from a decade or so ago. $125. Another well written addition to the library Africana.

Well, as a starting point, one of my credit card banks cancelled my card (fraud alert) because of the order I placed with Safari Press at DSC -- if that tells you anything. On the one hand, that is a very bad sign as to what I bought; as well as my credit card company -- pretty useless if you ask me. On the other hand -- good, bad or indifferent -- I have more than one credit card. Got some nice books.
