A very personal account of the 2004 battle for Fallujah in the Iraq War by an embedded reporter, the author. Amazing details and bravery performed daily for weeks by the Marines in this account, the men of 1st Platoon, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines. It's amazing that these men could keep going, having to clear hundreds of houses, sometimes the same house more than once, and facing the real possibility of death with each house. Some gave all, all gave some. A fine read. 4 out of 5 stars. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process. | ||
