I was lucky to find this very set I`ve been looking for for many years. Published in 1894 in only 250 sets. Both books have followed eachother since they came out. Both marked "39".

One has to be on the lookout. I found an original 17 volume set of Richard Burton's 1860 translation of the "Arabian Nights", in an antique shop. Mine is marked #60 of only 1000 printed.

In that same store on a different occasion, I found a complete set of 1st edition H. Ryder Haggard books, circa early 1900s, for $40.00 for the set. Also found a 1943 English copy of "Mein Kampf", for $5.00. I bought it, of course, not for the content, but for the knowledge that just how many copies of Hitler's book were printed in English in 1943? My ex just wanted to look for furniture, but I zeroed in on books; to each their own.
