I schmoozed my lovely wife into getting Craig Biddington's $450 limited edition book In search of the Spiral Horned Antelope for our 20th wedding anniversary. It came two weeks ago.
Problem: that the anniversary isn't til June 22nd, and she won't even let me open the box, just of course, to check for damage in shipping...

I believe there have been problems with the binding on those books. Isn't there a short term warranty that is based on shipping date on this book. You really need to verify the condition before the warranty expires.
You read it on the internet, it must be true.

Finally...

Our 20th Wedding Anniversary was yesterday, and I got to open the box. The bindings all seem to be solid.

As with all of Craig's books, this one reads well, and the names and places add much to the personal value.

I read enough about these animals, especially the Greater Kudu to know that was going to be the focus of the hunt I made with African Barefoot Safaris this past April.

Tremendous book, and a pretty good bucket list.
