This book is highly recommended. It is by far the best book of a newer date I have read. I have over 300 books in my bookcollection in regards to guns/rifles/africa/India etc and I think this book surpasses Boddington, Taylor, Keith,O`connor. It´s more chronological in history of firearms and the author shows pratical insight knowledge. It is well written and is a must-have book for anyone who has an interest of what the title says.
It has been many years since I have been "caught" not falling asleep while reading before bedtime.

Agreed. This is the best of the lot. I have read them all.
