Once again, my apologies if this has written up before.

Another amazing life, well written, warts and all. By today's standards, a little non PC, but he tells it like it is and to the point.
Apparently Robert Ruark obtained ideas and inspiration from York in York's bongo capture camp for "Uhuru."

Added: I meant to tell of the damn snake stories, should give some the cold shudders. York was also friends with Ionides, = ssssnakes!
