WinkBird book
If you're like others who hunt Africa, you get pretty interested in the animals. I've got several very good field guides to mammals and peruse them regularly.

Birds of Africa south of the Sahara by Ian Sinclair and Peter Ryan, Struik Publishers
www.struik.co.zaI highly recommend this book; it's well organized and easy to use.
One day I hope to be able to differentiate between a cordonbleu and a grenadier, between a longclaw and a pipit, and between a batise and a wattle-eye.
