I just finished this one by Joseph Tachkovsky whose father was the Lt. leading the all-volunteer Marine sniper-scout outfit that worked behind the enemies lines. It is a great read. You get to know these guys + really feel for them when the japs kill any of them off, or their comrades do as they made the deal before going in that none would be taken alive. More warriors from the greatest generation. I recommend it highly. Amazon has it.
